Graduate Non-Departmental Funding

Below, graduate students can find resources to secure funding in a variety of forms, from scholarships to grants and awards. The resources include opportunities from UIC, the Chicagoland area, and across the country. To find out more and other opportunities, refer to UIC's Graduate Funding Overview.

Additionally, we encourage graduate students to reach out to Benn Williams, UIC Fellowships and Awards Coordinator, for more information on graduate student funding. He provides a weekly list of funding opportunities through his graduate student listserv, and many UIC students have found great positions and funding through his work. Email him at bwilli7@uic.edu to be on his mailing list if you have not already joined. We also invite students to visit the UIC Grant Writing Resources and Benn’s Fellowship Toolbox.
