Black Studies Departmental Award

The Black Studies Departmental Award provides both recognition and support for its majors and minors. All students who have taken at least two Black Studies courses, who have demonstrated academic achievement and who have a minimum 3.0 GPA are strongly encouraged to apply. The recipient is awarded $1,000.00.

Applications are DUE March 22nd, 2024.

- Contact prospective recommenders to write a Letter of Recommendation.
- Submit a copy of your transcripts. (Official copies are not necessary)
- Complete application form and essay. Submit on SnAP by the deadline.
