Dr. Terrion Williamson Discusses Environmental Justice and New BMI Justice Hub
Dr. Terrion Williamson, Founder and Director of the Black Midwest Initiative (hosted through the Black Studies department), recently shared exciting news about the new Black Midwest Justice Hub. The hub, which received a $500,000 grant from the Mellon Foundation, will host a series of events, programs, symposia, and research projects around environmental justice in the Midwest over the next three years in order to bring together artists and activists to address key environmental issues in their communities.
