Professor Elizabeth Todd-Breland Featured in The New Yorker
Professor Elizabeth Todd-Breland was quoted in an article in The New Yorker. Her research is being featured in course materials in Chicago Public Schools that teach the history of police torture in the city. She explains, "This is unprecedented, and not just in Chicago. The fact that part of what that reparations package included was to make sure that this history is never forgotten, and to make sure it is continuously taught and engaged with and remains alive in young people’s minds, is super powerful.”
