Professor Amanda Lewis Co-Authors Perspective Column for The Chicago Reporter

The Chicago Reporter features a perspective column co-authored by Amanda Lewis, director of UIC’s Institute for Research on Race and Public Policy (IRRPP) and professor of African American studies and sociology; and William Scarborough, an IRRPP research assistant and doctoral candidate in sociology at UIC, that examines race in Chicago 50 years following the Kerner Commission report on racial inequities in urban areas.
