Where is the Third Biennial BMI Symposium being held?

Where can I stay while in Dayton?
The BMI Symposium Planning Committee recommends two local hotels: AC Hotel Dayton and Courtyard Dayton. For more details and booking reservations, visit our Lodging and Transportation Page.

If you are interested in learning more about Dayton, we encourage you to sign up for the City of Dayton Tour on October 18 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. You can sign up for the tour during registration. Register for the symposium here!
How do I register for the Black Midwest Symposium?
Online registration for the Third Biennial Black Midwest Symposium is open until Monday, October 14th. Registration will remain open after this date, however, individuals will have to register in person at the symposium.
Early registration ends Friday, October 4th. Register by this date to guarantee your free ticket for the community dinner at this year’s symposium!

What are the COVID-19 precautions?
The health and safety of all conference attendees is our highest priority. While face masks are not mandatory inside the facilities, please exercise basic sanitary precautions while visiting public spaces. Face masks and frequent hand washing greatly reduces risk of exposure to infectious agents. Hand sanitizer stations are available on every floor and throughout the Dayton Metro Library facilities.
