How to get your COVID vaccination

All students at UIC have access to a COVID vaccine.

On April 19, 2021, vaccine distribution moved into Phase 2. All Chicagoans age 16 and over are eligible to get the COVID-19 vaccine.

• Pfizer is a two-dose vaccine that should be provided 21 days apart. You are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after your second dose.

• Moderna is a two-dose vaccine that should be provided 28 days apart. You are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after your second dose.

To schedule an appointment, complete one of the following options:

• Make an appointment through MyChart

Note: The vaccine is free. You do not need to have medical insurance to get the COVID-19 vaccine.

UI Health is currently offering the COVID-19 vaccine at two locations: Credit Union 1 Arena & Pilsen Family Health Center.

The UI Health Pilsen Family Health Center Lower West is distributing the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine to new and existing UI Health patients ages 18 and older. An appointment is required, walk-ins are not currently accepted.
