About
Jayden serves as the Administrative Graduate Assistant for the Black Studies Department for the 2026-2027 academic year. His responsibilities include managing the social media pages, assisting faculty and staff, and promoting departmental events and programs.
Currently, Jayden is a PhD student in the Department of Educational Policy Studies at UIC. His research explores the histories, educational experiences, and future possibilities of Black communities while advancing justice and transformative approaches to education.
