About
Born and raised in Brazil, Priscila Pereira is a PhD student in Mathematics and Science Education with a concentration in Gender & Women's Studies. Her doctoral research focuses on investigating the experiences of Black Brazilian women mathematicians against Brazil's sociopolitical and historical contexts. Priscila is also part of the Local Planning Committee for the Racial Justice in Early Math Project (RJEM) and Chief-Editor of the RJEM Newsletter.
