Professor Barbara Ransby Joined Chicago Public Radio’s Worldview
Barbara Ransby, UIC African American studies professor, gender & women's studies, & history; LAS distinguished professor; and director of the Social Justice Initiative at UIC, joined Chicago Public Radio’s “Worldview” program for a segment. The segment discussed issues such as voting rights, gender rights, labor rights, environmental protections, and access to healthcare as well as voter apathy and why young people don't see voting as an effective means to social change.
