Applications for the Grace Holt Memorial Award and the BLST Departmental Award are now open on UIC SnAP at https://uic.academicworks.com/users/sign_in. 

The Grace Holt Memorial Award honors undergraduate and graduate students who have worked actively to improve the lives of Black people. Eligible applicants must demonstrate commitment to racial justice and have a GPA 3.0 or above. Recipient will receive up to $1,000.

The BLST Departmental Award provides both recognition and support for BLST majors and minors. Eligible applicants must have taken two BLST classes, have a GPA 3.0 or above, demonstrate academic excellence or be working under challenging circumstances. Recipient will receive up to $1,000.
